Shenzhen Sales Manager-Global freight forwarding Company Our Client is a TOP 20 global freight forwarding Group. This position is to Grow and expand across all the lines of business, by delivering and developing the company products into Guangdong & peripheral markets to win as much new business as possible whilst developing new business with current customers, and working with other functional teams like pricing, operation, marketing and engineering to continuously improve the competition of our products as well as develop new products to align with market needs and to achieve assigned both top line and bottom line finance results, KPIs and budgets. Key Responsibilities:  Development of freight forwarding business in PRD Area in terms of Contribution Margin, Net Revenue and Volume, per corporate threshold to meet the targets and budgets assigned, both for own and whole team;  Development of new customers and expansion of business with existing customers, in the aim to grow business in a sustainable manner;  Identify and develop new products as well as new trade lane opportunities;  Establish a strong brand recognition in the local market.  Achieve or exceed budget in freight forwarding profit, volume and revenue; Ensure that Contribution Margins and EBIT targets in projects are met & exceeded;  Work closely with PRD Sales Manager and teammates to deliver related sales strategies in the market;  Meet/Excess Sales KPIs, such as No. of sales call, sales pipeline update, win rate, etc;  Implement and realize company’s sales strategies in local markets; Develop and focus on BGH (Big Game Hunting) business, Vertical Focus Program, and Trade Lines Development Program, etc., according to proper market research and analysis;  Grow business in International Freight Services, develop new opportunities, new products, and new trade lane between China and other regions;  Proactively work with operation and finance department to ensure all payments are collected within agreed timelines;  Establish close rapport with local steamship lines and co-loaders per corporate carrier strategy; Local procurement with local carriers and co-loaders for bullets rates in order to compete in local market;  Leverage the company’s extensive presence and experience to provide Comprehensive Supply Chain solutions for customers, such as Warehousing Service, Customs Brokerage, Domestics Transportation and Distribution, etc.  Any other related duties / projects assigned by Manager from time to time to meet the business needs;  Protect company’s interests and benefit per guidelines of company and local laws. Key Requirements:  5 years BD/sales experience in 3PL/Forwarding industry, and rich knowledge in local operations and market practice. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Sales Representative or Senior Sales Representative;  Strong passion for business development  Ability to easily understand/capture customer’s challenges in logistics area and structure effective solutions;  Communication skills, listening skills, negotiating skills, and relationship building skill;  Customer Focus - meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acts with respect to customer in mind;  Leadership - can thinking in multiple different standpoints, looks toward the broadest possible view of an issue/opportunity, and take lead to drive for results;  Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;  Less experience but with stable customer base will also be considered;  Well organized, ability to manage time, good influencing capabilities, strong business sense.  Knowledge of Chinese Customs Clearance is preferred.
