职位介绍: JD: - Assist the line manager/technical engineer to design, develop and create cosmetic formulations and identify new product concepts that meet the market trends, improve the product value propositions and customer requirement. - Collaborate and work with matrix team and cross function (Marketing/Sales/Technical) to identify relevant consumer insights and ensure they are at the forefront to develop formulas, new products, and technologies in support of business strategies. - Assist the line manager/technical engineer in conducting research and testing in selected topics such as advanced analytical methods, processing method, etc. which may involve a simple proof of concept experiments, experimental design, and specific topic research. - Assist the line manager/technical engineer to develop cosmetic formulations that will be used as a marketing promotional tool for any customers related activities, trainings, tradeshows, etc. - Responsible to ensure all required technical work is performed on time and according to the required standards. - Perform any relevant/required sample evaluations and measurements such as physical, stability test, sensory test etc. Additionally, able to keep track of due dates, detailed record of results and observations. Convert all these into formal technical report and write in different formats. (Words, Excel, Powerpoint) - Ensure proper maintenance, calibrated and operations of various test equipment and liaise with suppliers as necessary. - Responsible for managing inventory and keeping sufficient stock of raw materials, ingredients, lab consumables and packaging materials. - Maintain lab equipment including liaison with suppliers and internal departments for repair and servicing. - Assist with disposal of waste materials, chemicals and raw materials safely according to internal EHS guidelines and ensure the safety of the lab. JR: - Bachelor degree or above(Chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or other relevant science) with related experience of working in cosmetics formulation environment (ingredient manufacturer or manufacturer of finished product) is desirable. - Strong technical background in personal care formulation and processing. - Knowledge of ingredients of plant origin (starches, sugars, etc.), as well as experience in microbiological tests for cosmetics will be highly appreciated. - Ability and fluent in English required (written)
