- We are currently expanding our Purchasing teams in Qingdao and looking for new colleagues who will join our team. Your tasks: * Responsible for sourcing and supplier management for GS commodity including packaging, Chemicals/Lubricants/Gases and Shop Floor Supplies. * Work on assigned commodities code, to drive regional strategies and actions to achieve budget, cost reduction and competitive sourcing target. * Lead commodity RFQ (request for quotation) or bidding project. * Coordinate and benchmark best practices and suppliers. Initiates and evaluates quotations necessary to determine the most cost effective sources available. * Recommend cost savings proposal including make versus buy analysis, alternate sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria. * Manage supply base including creation or renewal of contracts, purchase orders or agreements. Conduct supplier assessments for potential new suppliers. * Maintain the regional approved supplier list as part of the global strategy. * Monitor supplier performance. * Maintain all records and documentation, of requests for quotation purchase order initiation, cost reduction reporting and all other daily transactions in accordance with established ZF policies and procedures. * Interface with ZF Law Department regarding terms and conditions of major purchases. * Support Regional manager and Global Commodity Manager on reporting. * Undertake individual assignments depending on management needs and individual’s. Your profile: * 5+years related experience in Purchasing, Operations or Project Management. * University or above degree. * English is required, Chinese or/and German as plus. * Familiar with purchasing process, capable in handling commercial contract, negotiation ability. * Experience of supplier management. * Good data analysis skill.
