Position Summary: The Commercial Head will develop and lead the commercial strategies and GTM plans for Teva China’s pipelines in Generics, Specialty, OTC and Biosimilar segments. It also will support the business growth on our Specialty products and Generics through partnership and license deals. Specific Responsibilities: • Define and implement the strategy for for Teva's Specialty and Generics Product Portfolio in China 1. Create & implement strategic plan for product portfolio in alignment with Teva China's Strategy 2. Understand China healthcare reform and policy/market trends in 5-10 years and its impact on portfolio strategy. 3. Understand TA trends and disease standard of care and emerging treatment options both globally and locally 4. Set criteria and develop a rational for Teva Product pipeline selection. 5. Identifying attractive products to launch in the China market in the coming 2-5 years. 6. Portfolio management including product selection, new product launch, and life cycle management. 7. Direct & monitor the organization of all pre-launch activities for new products 8. Manage and foster collaborative internal working relationships across global, regional and local functions (Portfolio, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain etc.), to support China selections, submissions & approvals. • Drive business growth on innovative, generics, OTC and biosimilars through partnership and license deals 1. Scout, screen and establish relationships with external partners; 2. Develop or review business cases with partners for deal discussing 3. Lead negotiation with external partners 4. Ensure alignment with internal stakeholders from local and global Leadership & Management Behavioral Competencies: 1. Excellent planning & organizational skills. 2. Good people management skills including coaching & development of employees. 3. Demonstrates the ability to establish good working relationships at all levels of the company both domestically and globally. 4. Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities effectively. 5. Operational Efficiency: Drive for Results, Planning. 6. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to present ideas articulately. 7. Excellent communication skills with written and verbal fluency in English. 8. Good presentation skills. 9. Teamwork / collaboration and ability to work effectively with numerous interfaces. Qualifications & Experience: 1. Commercial business experience in marketing, portfolio management or business development. 2. Degree in a science and/or business related discipline. 3. Minimum 8 years China Pharmaceutical industry experience. 4. Good knowledge of pharma sector trends, customer landscape and competitor trends and actions. 5. Good finance/forecasting capabilities. 6. Positive mind-set and self-motivated. 7. Openness to change and ability to think out of the box. 8. A self-starter and a hands-on approach. 9. Results oriented and entrepreneurial. 10. Possess a high level of business ethics, integrity and professionalism. 11. Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
