- Tasks and Responsibilities: 1. Central point of contact for RVS-CN sales organization regarding digital products & services 2. Develop, assess and align strategies & business models that aim to embed digital products and services in existing products or supplement and expand current and planned Knorr-Bremse product offering 3. Identity start-ups and scale-ups and initiate partnerships that support the execution of developed strategies 4. Define and drive ideation activities and facilitate regular digital innovation proposals 5. Identify & analyze technology, market & digital trends through foresight activities 6. Plan, initiate & coordinate incubation & technology scouting activities 7. Drive data sharing and collecting initiatives 8. Visualize and manage product portfolio of sellable digital products (HW&SW) and services 9. Collect and maintain transparent list of customer needs & painpoints & drive idea generation for use-cases 10. Digital Ambassador for RVS-CN Requirements: 1. Master’s degree or comparable in engineering, computer science or natural science 2. 5 years of relevant professional experience in the digital area 3. Experience with lean start-up business mentality (system & design thinking, scrum / agile processes) 4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to act as a link & translator between technical and business functions across hierarchies. 5. Very good command of English in written and spoken language 6. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills 7. Skilled at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions 8. General affinity for technology and willingness to learn about the railway industry (systems, products, maintenance and operations) 9. Entrepreneurial mindset and working style
